Surinder Koli, the prime accused in the Nithari killings, was found dead by hanging in his Haridwar tea kiosk. Koli, who was acquitted by the Supreme Court in November after nearly 19 years in prison, had reportedly been living under the name 'Sada Ram' to conceal his past. Police recovered his Aadhaar card, revealing his true identity. He had recently started the tea business after working as a security guard.
