Jagan Accuses Naidu of Election Subversion After Local Body Polls

YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has accused Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu of compromising democratic institutions by manipulating recent local body elections. Reddy described the alleged irregularities as "election subversion" and an "organised capture of democracy," stating Naidu would not have won in a free and fair election. He alleged the ruling party used police and administrative machinery to prevent opposition nominations, suppress dissent, and facilitate booth capturing.
