Surat police have busted a major counterfeit drug racket where an illegal operation was repackaging animal medicine as children's medication. The SOG Crime Branch and Food and Drugs Department raided 'Shri Shantinath Medical Store' in the Athwa area. They discovered that liquid from a 5-liter can of 'Himalaya Liv.52 Protec Liquid Animal Feed Supplement' was being filled into small bottles. These were then sold to unsuspecting customers with fake 'Liv.52 Drops 60 ML' stickers, endangering children's health.
