Tushar Gandhi Named in FIR Over Mumbai Protest; 600 Detained

Mumbai police have registered an FIR against 12 named individuals, including Tushar Gandhi, and 350 others in connection with a protest held near August Kranti Maidan. The case was filed under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Over 500 police personnel were deployed, and roads leading to the protest site were barricaded. Approximately 600 protesters were detained across the city and subsequently released. The protest, organised by Hum Bharat Ke Log, was in solidarity with demonstrations in Delhi demanding the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and others.
