Qatar Hosts Milipol Exhibition, Signs Security Pact With France

The 16th edition of Milipol Qatar, a global exhibition for homeland security and safety, has opened in Doha, featuring over 270 local and international companies showcasing advanced defence technologies. On the sidelines of the event, Qatar and France signed a three-year action plan for security cooperation, effective from 2027 to 2030. This agreement is designed to enhance collaboration in critical areas such as combating organised crime, drug trafficking, counterterrorism efforts, securing international events, and civil protection measures.

होमलैंड सिक्योरिटी और सुरक्षा के लिए वैश्विक प्रदर्शनी, मिपोल कतर का 16वां संस्करण दोहा में शुरू हो गया है, जिसमें 270 से अधिक स्थानीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कंपनियां उन्नत रक्षा प्रौद्योगिकियों का प्रदर्शन कर रही हैं। इस कार्यक्रम के मौके पर, कतर और फ्रांस ने 2027 से 2030 तक प्रभावी तीन साल की सुरक्षा सहयोग कार्य योजना पर हस्ताक्षर किए। इस समझौते का उद्देश्य संगठित अपराध, नशीली दवाओं की तस्करी, आतंकवाद विरोधी प्रयासों, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कार्यक्रमों की सुरक्षा और नागरिक सुरक्षा उपायों जैसे महत्वपूर्ण क्षेत्रों में सहयोग को बढ़ाना है।
