IGI Airport to Boost Capacity by 50% in 4 Years with New Terminal Pier

India's busiest airport, IGI Airport, is set to significantly increase its passenger capacity over the next four years. A new international pier at Terminal 3 will add capacity for approximately 1.6 crore passengers annually, raising T3's total capacity to 6.6 crore. Terminal 1 will also see a minor increase in domestic capacity by adding check-in and security counters without major structural changes.

देश का सबसे व्यस्त एयरपोर्ट, IGI एयरपोर्ट, अगले चार सालों में अपनी यात्री क्षमता को काफी बढ़ाने वाला है। टर्मिनल 3 पर एक नया अंतरराष्ट्रीय पियर सालाना लगभग 1.6 करोड़ यात्रियों की क्षमता बढ़ाएगा, जिससे T3 की कुल क्षमता 6.6 करोड़ हो जाएगी। टर्मिनल 1 में भी बिना बड़े ढांचागत बदलाव के चेक-इन और सुरक्षा काउंटर जोड़कर घरेलू क्षमता में मामूली वृद्धि की जाएगी।
