Delhi-NCR Air Quality Dips to Very Poor Category, AQI Reaches 334

Air pollution in Delhi-NCR has worsened significantly, with the AQI reaching 334 in the 'Very Poor' category. CAQM has consequently implemented the second stage of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP-2) across the region. Adverse weather conditions are expected to prolong the poor air quality, with little relief anticipated in the coming days. Measures like increased road cleaning, water sprinkling, and stricter vehicle and industrial monitoring are being intensified to combat the rising pollution levels.

दिल्ली-एनसीआर में हवा की गुणवत्ता काफी बिगड़ गई है, AQI 'बहुत खराब' श्रेणी में 334 पर पहुंच गया है। इसके चलते CAQM ने पूरे क्षेत्र में ग्रेडेड रिस्पांस एक्शन प्लान (GRAP-2) का दूसरा चरण लागू कर दिया है। खराब मौसम की वजह से हवा की यह खराब स्थिति अगले कुछ दिनों तक बनी रहने की उम्मीद है, जिसमें ज्यादा राहत की उम्मीद नहीं है। बढ़ते प्रदूषण से निपटने के लिए सड़क की सफाई, पानी का छिड़काव और वाहनों व उद्योगों पर कड़ी निगरानी जैसे उपायों को तेज किया जा रहा है।
