भारत ने अपनी स्थानीय रिफाइनरियों को एलपीजी (LPG) उत्पादन बढ़ाने का निर्देश दिया है। रिफाइनरियों से कहा गया है कि वे मौजूदा न्यूनतम स्तर से ऊपर उत्पादन बढ़ाने के लिए हर संभव तकनीकी और आर्थिक रूप से संभव उपाय करें। यह निर्देश होर्मुज जलडमरूमध्य (Hormuz) में जारी संकट के बीच आया है, जिससे ऊर्जा आपूर्ति सुरक्षा को लेकर चिंताएं बढ़ गई हैं।
