AC Milan's Belgian international Alexis Saelemaekers has undergone successful surgery on his right ankle in Amsterdam. The procedure was an arthroscopic debridement and stabilisation. Italian media reports suggest Saelemaekers could be sidelined for four to five months, potentially until 2027. This comes after he underwent surgery on the same ankle in 2024 for a fracture. His playing time has decreased this season, having started only two league matches and yet to score.
