Minister: Mining Law Does Not Affect States’ Rights

Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy stated that the new Mining Amendment law does not infringe upon the rights of states. He clarified that the legislation's scope is limited to major minerals and applies across eleven specific states. This assurance aims to address concerns raised by states regarding the central government's legislative powers in mineral resource management.

मंत्री: खनन कानून राज्यों के अधिकारों को प्रभावित नहीं करता

केंद्रीय मंत्री जी. किशन रेड्डी ने कहा है कि नया माइनिंग अमेंडमेंट कानून राज्यों के अधिकारों का उल्लंघन नहीं करता है। उन्होंने साफ किया कि यह कानून सिर्फ़ बड़े खनिजों पर लागू होता है और ग्यारह राज्यों में मान्य है। यह बात राज्यों की चिंताओं को दूर करने के लिए कही गई है, जो खनिज संसाधनों के प्रबंधन में केंद्र सरकार की शक्तियों को लेकर उठाई गई थीं।
