The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) informed the Supreme Court that no metro services were curtailed or cancelled during recent protests in the national capital. The DMRC stated that entry and exit were restricted at only 45 out of 303 stations, representing 15% of the network, while over 85% remained fully operational. These restrictions were implemented based on assessments and directions from law enforcement agencies. Approximately 32 lakh passengers used the metro on October 10, a significant decrease from the usual 58 lakh on a normal Saturday.
