The JEE Advanced exam, considered the toughest engineering entrance, might soon offer three attempts instead of the current two. IIT Kanpur Director Manindra Agrawal indicated that while no immediate changes are planned, the possibility of a third attempt could be considered in the coming years. This comes after a petition signed by over 12,000 students demanding an increase in attempts. Agrawal also expressed concern that the exam is becoming overly dependent on coaching centers, putting financial and mental pressure on students from less privileged backgrounds.
