Kalpi Bar Assn President Murder: Prime Accused Monu Held After Police Encounter

Monu Yadav, the prime suspect in the murder of Kalpi Bar Association president Gayadeen Ahirwar, was apprehended following a police encounter. Ahirwar was abducted and murdered three days prior over a land dispute. A reward of ₹1 lakh had been announced for Yadav, who allegedly carried out the killing for a ₹10 lakh contract. Police intercepted Yadav on a highway, and after he allegedly opened fire, they retaliated, injuring him in both legs. He was taken into custody and is receiving treatment.

कल्पी बार एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष ग्यादीन अहिरवार की हत्या का मुख्य आरोपी मोनू यादव पुलिस मुठभेड़ के बाद पकड़ा गया। अहिरवार को तीन दिन पहले ज़मीन विवाद के चलते अगवा कर हत्या कर दी गई थी। यादव पर 10 लाख रुपये के कॉन्ट्रैक्ट के लिए हत्या करने का आरोप है, जिसके लिए उस पर 1 लाख रुपये का इनाम घोषित था। पुलिस ने हाईवे पर यादव को रोका, और कथित तौर पर गोली चलाने के बाद, उन्होंने जवाबी कार्रवाई की, जिससे उसके दोनों पैरों में चोट आई। उसे हिरासत में ले लिया गया है और उसका इलाज चल रहा है।
