Gurugram Municipal Corporation Orders Removal of 31 RMC Plants by October 25

The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) has mandated the removal of 31 ready-mix concrete (RMC) plants by October 25 to combat rising air pollution and dust emissions. Officials stated that non-compliant plants will be sealed and permanently shut down after the deadline. This directive follows a similar order by the Municipal Corporation of Manesar, which is also shutting down unauthorized RMC facilities. The MCG is intensifying measures to control dust at construction sites, ban biomass burning, and improve waste management to enhance air quality.

बढ़ते वायु प्रदूषण और धूल उत्सर्जन से निपटने के लिए गुरुग्राम नगर निगम (MCG) ने 25 अक्टूबर तक 31 रेडी-मिक्स कंक्रीट (RMC) प्लांट हटाने का आदेश दिया है। अधिकारियों ने कहा कि समय सीमा के बाद गैर-अनुपालन करने वाले प्लांटों को सील कर दिया जाएगा और स्थायी रूप से बंद कर दिया जाएगा। यह निर्देश मानेसर नगर निगम द्वारा इसी तरह के आदेश के बाद आया है, जो अनधिकृत आरएमसी सुविधाओं को भी बंद कर रहा है। MCG वायु गुणवत्ता में सुधार के लिए निर्माण स्थलों पर धूल को नियंत्रित करने, बायोमास जलाने पर प्रतिबंध लगाने और अपशिष्ट प्रबंधन में सुधार के उपायों को तेज कर रहा है।
