Global crude oil prices saw a significant jump on July 13, with Brent crude futures nearing $80 a barrel and U.S. WTI crude trading above $74. This surge follows a 5.5% rally last week. The increase is attributed to escalating geopolitical tensions and increased strikes involving the US and Iran.
