Varanasi DM Inspects BHU Projects, Urges CPWD to Expedite Construction

Varanasi District Magistrate Satyendra Kumar conducted a surprise inspection of key under-construction projects at BHU. These include a 192-bed critical care hospital, a 1,200-seat girls’ hostel, and the Aiyar Hostel. The DM directed Central Public Works Department (CPWD) engineers to increase manpower and work in shifts to meet project deadlines. Hostel construction and renovation work worth Rs 57.66 crore is underway, with the new block targeted for December completion. The critical care hospital's revised deadline is January 31 next year.

वाराणसी के जिला मजिस्ट्रेट सत्येंद्र कुमार ने बीएचयू में चल रही अहम परियोजनाओं का अचानक निरीक्षण किया। इनमें 192 बेड का क्रिटिकल केयर हॉस्पिटल, 1,200 सीटों वाला गर्ल्स हॉस्टल और अय्यर हॉस्टल शामिल हैं। डीएम ने सेंट्रल पब्लिक वर्क्स डिपार्टमेंट (CPWD) के इंजीनियरों को प्रोजेक्ट की समय सीमा पूरी करने के लिए मैनपावर बढ़ाने और शिफ्टों में काम करने का निर्देश दिया। हॉस्टल निर्माण और रेनोवेशन का काम 57.66 करोड़ रुपये का है, जिसमें नए ब्लॉक का काम दिसंबर तक पूरा करने का लक्ष्य है। क्रिटिकल केयर हॉस्पिटल के लिए अगली समय सीमा 31 जनवरी अगले साल है।
