Squash player Suraj Kumar Chand, who won a bronze medal at the 2026 Asian Games, expressed his ambition to secure gold or silver in future tournaments. Chand, who also became the first Indian to win gold at the FISU World University Championship Squash, is now training to qualify for the 2028 Olympics. He believes squash is gaining popularity in India following recent successes and its inclusion in the Olympics. Chand hopes to compete and medal at the 2030 Commonwealth Games in Ahmedabad.
