MP: 3 Children Found Dead in Well, Family Suspects Ritual Sacrifice

Three young children were found dead in a well in Chui village, Jhabua district, Madhya Pradesh. Their bodies bore injuries to the lips, tongue, and ears, leading their families to suspect ritualistic sacrifice during Dussehra. However, police initial investigations and post-mortem reports suggest drowning as the probable cause of death. The SP stated that the children might have lost balance while cycling and fallen into the uncovered well. The injuries could be due to aquatic creatures in the well.

मध्य प्रदेश के झाबुआ जिले के चुई गांव में एक कुएं में तीन छोटे बच्चों के शव मिले। उनके होंठ, जीभ और कानों पर चोट के निशान थे, जिससे उनके परिवारों को दशहरा के दौरान रस्म के तौर पर बलि दिए जाने का शक है। हालांकि, पुलिस की शुरुआती जांच और पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट में डूबने को मौत का संभावित कारण बताया गया है। एसपी ने कहा कि बच्चे साइकिल चलाते समय संतुलन खो बैठे होंगे और खुले कुएं में गिर गए होंगे। चोटें कुएं में मौजूद जलीय जीवों के कारण हो सकती हैं।
