A Taco Bell cashier's alleged plot to carry out a mass shooting at a Hindu temple near Chicago was thwarted by a tip-off from a colleague. Alexandros Paporakis, 19, was arrested after sending messages about the planned attack to a co-worker who alerted authorities. Investigators found writings where Paporakis identified as a white supremacist and expressed hatred for non-white people. Police discovered a rifle, ammunition, and body armour at his home, along with a document detailing extremist ideologies and attack plans. The Hindu temple has since implemented new security measures.
