India Equals World Record, Wins Archery Gold

India's women's compound archery team has won gold at the Asian Games in Aichi Nagoya, Japan, by defeating China in the final. The Indian trio of Jyoti, Chikita, and Prithika scored 238 points, equalling the existing world record. This victory not only defended their previous Asian Games gold medal but also secured India's seventh gold medal of the current Games. The world record was previously held by South Korea since the 2014 Asian Games.

एशियाई खेलों में भारत की महिला कंपाउंड तीरंदाजी टीम ने फाइनल में चीन को हराकर ऐची नागोया, जापान में स्वर्ण पदक जीता है। ज्योति, चिक्की और प्रीति का भारतीय तिकड़ी ने 238 अंक बनाए, जो मौजूदा विश्व रिकॉर्ड की बराबरी है। इस जीत ने न केवल उनके पिछले एशियाई खेलों के स्वर्ण पदक का बचाव किया, बल्कि वर्तमान खेलों में भारत का सातवां स्वर्ण पदक भी पक्का किया। विश्व रिकॉर्ड पहले दक्षिण कोरिया के पास 2014 के एशियाई खेलों से था।
