The BJP has labelled the Congress-led protest against the special intensive revision as a "political drama" orchestrated by Rahul Gandhi, accusing the party of spreading falsehoods. BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi cited an Election Commission of India statement, asserting the poll panel received no request for a meeting from the INDIA bloc. The ECI stated it offered to send an officer to receive a memorandum, but the proposal was declined, suggesting the Congress lacked genuine intent to meet.
