Odisha Govt Plans Digital Push To Modernise Land Registration System

The Odisha government is planning to implement and modernise the National Generic Document Registration System (NGDRS) in partnership with the National Informatics Centre (NIC). This initiative aims to simplify and enhance the transparency, efficiency, and citizen-friendliness of land and property registration processes across the state. Key proposed features include online application scrutiny, biometric authentication, digital document approval, and improved service delivery. The system, based on the 'One Nation, One Registration' concept, will offer online document preparation, fee calculation, and payment facilities, reducing procedural errors and delays.

ओडिशा सरकार नेशनल इन्फॉर्मेटिक्स सेंटर (NIC) के साथ मिलकर नेशनल जेनेरिक डॉक्यूमेंट रजिस्ट्रेशन सिस्टम (NGDRS) को लागू करने और आधुनिक बनाने की योजना बना रही है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य पूरे राज्य में भूमि और संपत्ति पंजीकरण प्रक्रियाओं को सरल बनाना और पारदर्शिता, दक्षता और नागरिक-मित्रता को बढ़ाना है। प्रस्तावित प्रमुख विशेषताओं में ऑनलाइन आवेदन की जांच, बायोमेट्रिक प्रमाणीकरण, डिजिटल दस्तावेज़ अनुमोदन और बेहतर सेवा वितरण शामिल हैं। 'वन नेशन, वन रजिस्ट्रेशन' की अवधारणा पर आधारित यह प्रणाली ऑनलाइन दस्तावेज़ तैयार करने, शुल्क गणना और भुगतान की सुविधाएँ प्रदान करेगी, जिससे प्रक्रियात्मक त्रुटियाँ और देरी कम होगी।
