Insurtech firm Go Digit reported a 31.1% year-on-year decline in net profit for the September quarter, falling to ₹142.4 crore from ₹206.8 crore in the same period last year. This profit drop occurred despite a marginal 1.7% increase in insurance revenue to ₹2,720.5 crore. The company's insurance service result significantly decreased by 73.4% due to a 22.4% rise in insurance service expenses, including higher incurred claims. Investment income saw a year-on-year increase, but it was insufficient to offset the operational cost pressures.
