Brahmahatya Sin Washed Away At BrahmaKapal

Despite inclement weather, thousands of devotees are flocking to the BrahmaKapal pilgrimage site near Badrinath for Shraddh rituals. This sacred spot, located by the Alaknanda River, is believed to grant salvation to ancestors through Pind Daan and Tarpan. According to local priests, thousands performed these rituals on the first day of Shraddh Paksh. The site's significance stems from a legend where Lord Shiva was freed from the sin of Brahmahatya after severing Brahma's fifth head, which then detached at this location.

ब्रह्मकपाल में ब्रह्महत्या का पाप धुला

खराब मौसम के बावजूद, हजारों श्रद्धालु बद्रीनाथ के पास ब्रह्मकपाल तीर्थ स्थल पर श्राद्ध अनुष्ठान के लिए उमड़ रहे हैं। अलकनंदा नदी के किनारे स्थित यह पवित्र स्थान पिंडदान और तर्पण के माध्यम से पूर्वजों को मोक्ष प्रदान करने वाला माना जाता है। स्थानीय पुजारियों के अनुसार, श्राद्ध पक्ष के पहले दिन हजारों लोगों ने ये अनुष्ठान किए। इस स्थल का महत्व इस कथा से जुड़ा है कि भगवान शिव ने ब्रह्मा के पांचवें सिर को काटने के बाद ब्रह्महत्या के पाप से मुक्ति पाई थी, जो इसी स्थान पर गिरा था।
