Jaipur Development Authority to Build Green Medians to Curb Pavement Encroachment

JDA is launching a pilot project to construct green medians along 11 city pavements. This initiative aims to prevent vehicles and roadside vendors from encroaching on pedestrian walkways, thereby improving safety and walkability. The landscaped barriers will deter four-wheelers, two-wheelers, and cart vendors from occupying footpaths. This design has already been implemented on Bhawani Singh Marg and will be tested on various busy stretches across Jaipur. Tenders have been floated, with construction expected to begin by the end of November.

जेडीए फुटपाथ अतिक्रमण रोकने के लिए ग्रीन मीडियन बनाएगा

जेडीए 11 शहर के फुटपाथों पर ग्रीन मीडियन बनाने का एक पायलट प्रोजेक्ट शुरू कर रहा है। इस पहल का मकसद पैदल चलने वालों के रास्तों पर वाहनों और सड़क किनारे के विक्रेताओं को अतिक्रमण करने से रोकना है, जिससे सुरक्षा और चलने की सुविधा में सुधार होगा। हरे-भरे अवरोध चार पहिया वाहनों, दो पहिया वाहनों और ठेला विक्रेताओं को फुटपाथ पर कब्जा करने से रोकेंगे। यह डिज़ाइन पहले ही भवानी सिंह मार्ग पर लागू किया जा चुका है और इसे जयपुर के विभिन्न व्यस्त हिस्सों में परखा जाएगा। टेंडर जारी कर दिए गए हैं, और निर्माण नवंबर के अंत तक शुरू होने की उम्मीद है।
