स्टारबक्स ने तमिलनाडु सरकार के साथ MoU साइन करके चेन्नई में अपना ग्लोबल कैपेबिलिटी सेंटर (GCC) खोलने का फैसला किया है। इससे शुरुआती दौर में 800 अच्छी नौकरियां पैदा होंगी। तमिलनाडु के उद्योग मंत्री ने कहा कि यह राज्य की प्रतिभा और व्यापारिक माहौल पर एक बड़ा भरोसा है। इससे चेन्नई GCC के लिए एक अहम केंद्र बन जाएगा, जहाँ पहले से ही कई बड़ी कंपनियाँ निवेश कर चुकी हैं।
