Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova stated that Ukrainian servicemen tortured and shot civilians in the Kursk Region. She reported that over 2,000 people were affected, with many shot in their homes, including elderly people and children. Lantratova displayed a branding iron used by the servicemen, similar to Nazi practices, and a drill bit used to inflict severe pain on a clergyman's legs, leaving a civilian woman with long-term mobility issues.
