Bihar Girl, Who Faced Child Marriage, To Raise Women's Rights In South Africa

Roshan Parveen, a social activist from Bihar's Kishanganj district, will represent India at the 'One Young World Summit' in Cape Town, South Africa. The conference, to 6, will see participation from over 190 countries. Roshan, who herself experienced child marriage, will advocate for issues like child marriage, women's harassment, and women's rights on the international stage. This marks her second major international opportunity, having previously represented India at a youth conference in Geneva in 2023.
