PNC Infra Stock Hits Six-Year Low After NHAI

PNC Infratech's stock plummeted 20% to a six-year low of ₹140.40 after the National Highways Authority of India extended the debarment of Awadh Expressway Private Limited, where PNC acts as promoter. This three-year restriction prevents PNC Infratech from bidding on new tenders from MoRTH and NHAI. While the company stated ongoing projects and its status as a going concern are unaffected, the debarment significantly impacts future order book growth beyond FY29.

पीएनसी इन्फ्राटेक का शेयर 20% गिरकर ₹140.40 के छह साल के निचले स्तर पर आ गया। वजह यह है कि नेशनल हाईवे अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया (NHAI) ने अवध एक्सप्रेसवे प्राइवेट लिमिटेड पर लगी रोक तीन साल के लिए बढ़ा दी है, जिसमें पीएनसी प्रमोटर है। इससे पीएनसी इन्फ्राटेक MoRTH और NHAI के नए टेंडरों में बोली नहीं लगा पाएगा। कंपनी का कहना है कि चल रहे प्रोजेक्ट्स पर असर नहीं पड़ेगा, लेकिन 2029 के बाद नए ऑर्डर मिलने में दिक्कत होगी।
