Foreign National Arrested With Cocaine in Gurugram; Previous Case Found

Gurugram Police apprehended a 38-year-old national from Ivory Coast with 4.86 grams of cocaine near the Sector 17/18 turn. The accused, a Noida resident, arrived in India in 2021 on a tourist visa and intended to sell the drugs in Gurugram. Authorities discovered a prior case registered against him under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act in Ambala. Police also seized a scooter from his possession and are investigating the source of the cocaine and potential accomplices.

गुरुग्राम पुलिस ने सेक्टर 17/18 मोड़ के पास से आइवरी कोस्ट के 38 वर्षीय नागरिक को 4.86 ग्राम कोकीन के साथ पकड़ा है। आरोपी, जो नोएडा का रहने वाला है, 2021 में टूरिस्ट वीजा पर भारत आया था और गुरुग्राम में ड्रग्स बेचने का इरादा रखता था। अधिकारियों को पता चला कि उसके खिलाफ अंबाला में नारकोटिक ड्रग्स एंड साइकोट्रोपिक सब्सटेंस एक्ट के तहत पहले से एक मामला दर्ज है। पुलिस ने उसके कब्जे से एक स्कूटर भी जब्त किया है और कोकीन के स्रोत व संभावित साथियों की जांच कर रही है।
