UP Students Rescue Woman From Drowning Canal

Two Class 10 students, Krishna Gupta and Saddam Hussain, bravely rescued a woman from the strong currents of the Deoria Branch Canal in Uttar Pradesh's Maharajganj district on Friday. The teenagers, both 16, did not hesitate to enter the fast-flowing water near the Saat-Paanch bridge when the woman, who had allegedly jumped in after an argument, began to be swept away. They kept her afloat until others could help pull her to safety.

उत्तर प्रदेश के महाराजगंज जिले में शुक्रवार को दो 10वीं के छात्रों, कृष्णा गुप्ता और सद्दाम हुसैन ने देवरिया ब्रांच कैनाल की तेज धार से एक महिला को बहादुरी से बचाया। 16 साल के इन किशोरों ने सात-पांच पुल के पास तेज बहते पानी में कूदकर उस महिला को बचाया, जो कथित तौर पर झगड़े के बाद नहर में कूद गई थी और बहने लगी थी। उन्होंने महिला को तब तक संभाले रखा जब तक कि बाकी लोग उसे सुरक्षित बाहर नहीं निकाल पाए।
