Ramgarh police have developed digital profiles for 581 charge-sheeted criminals as part of a special initiative to boost surveillance and crime detection. These profiles are uploaded onto a dedicated Digital Criminal Monitoring Portal for real-time tracking of offenders. The drive, covering nine crime categories, identified 1,971 charge-sheeted criminals from January 2021 to March 2026. Actions taken include proceedings against 35 individuals, surveillance for 163, and inclusion of 56 in the 'Goonda Register'. The portal integrates criminal history, addresses, and modus operandi to aid effective crime control.
