V-Guard Industries has appointed Mithun K. Chittilappilly as its chairperson and managing director, effective September 27. Chittilappilly, who has been managing director since 2012, takes on the additional role of chairperson. He joined V-Guard in 2006, overseeing its growth from a regional brand with Rs 229 crore turnover to a pan-India consumer durables major with Rs 5,966 crore turnover in FY 2026. The company's workforce also expanded significantly during his tenure.
