A 24-year-old software engineer from Andhra Pradesh died by suicide in Mumbai after her boyfriend allegedly refused to marry her. Her family transported her body to his village in Prakasam district, demanding he perform a posthumous wedding ceremony before cremation. This protest caused tension until police intervened and the last rites were completed.
