Fixer Lawyers Facilitate Judicial Bribery: Mahesh Jethmalani

Senior Advocate Mahesh Jethmalani has highlighted the role of "fixer lawyers" in facilitating judicial bribery, stating that such individuals are well-known within the legal fraternity. He urged intelligence agencies to share details of these lawyers with the Supreme Court Collegium. Jethmalani also criticized the Bar Council of India, citing an attempt to illegally extend the chairperson's tenure and allegations of nepotism and corruption within its functioning.

वरिष्ठ वकील महेश जेठमलानी ने जजों को रिश्वत दिलाने वाले "फिक्सर वकीलों" की भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला है। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसे लोग कानूनी बिरादरी में जाने जाते हैं। जेठमलानी ने खुफिया एजेंसियों से इन वकीलों की जानकारी सुप्रीम कोर्ट कॉलेजियम को देने की मांग की। उन्होंने बार काउंसिल ऑफ इंडिया की भी आलोचना की, जिसमें अध्यक्ष का कार्यकाल अवैध रूप से बढ़ाने की कोशिश और भाई-भतीजावाद व भ्रष्टाचार के आरोप लगे हैं।
