Punjab Congress Chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring Resigns, Successor To Be Chosen Soon

Amarinder Singh Raja Warring has resigned from his position as the Punjab Congress Chief. He took charge of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee in April 2022. His resignation comes after a significant electoral defeat for the party in the state. The Congress faced a major setback from the Aam Aadmi Party in the elections held that year. The party will soon select a new leader to head the Punjab unit.

अमरेंद्र सिंह राजा वडिंग ने पंजाब कांग्रेस चीफ के पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया है। उन्होंने अप्रैल 2022 में पंजाब प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी का पद संभाला था। उनका इस्तीफा राज्य में पार्टी की बड़ी चुनावी हार के बाद आया है। कांग्रेस को उस साल हुए चुनावों में आम आदमी पार्टी से बड़ा झटका लगा था। पार्टी जल्द ही पंजाब इकाई का नेतृत्व करने के लिए एक नया नेता चुनेगी।
