NCLT Approves Record Cases Amidst Staff Shortage

The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) approved a record 78 resolution plans in April-June, valued at Rs 5,518 crore. This brings the total value of approved plans to nearly Rs 4.8 lakh crore. However, the tribunal is facing significant institutional capacity constraints due to 11 unfilled judicial and technical member positions.

नेशनल कंपनी लॉ ट्रिब्यूनल (NCLT) ने अप्रैल से जून के बीच रिकॉर्ड 78 समाधान योजनाओं को मंजूरी दी है, जिनकी कुल कीमत 5,518 करोड़ रुपये है। इससे स्वीकृत योजनाओं का कुल मूल्य लगभग 4.8 लाख करोड़ रुपये हो गया है। लेकिन, 11 न्यायिक और तकनीकी सदस्यों के खाली पदों के कारण ट्रिब्यूनल को क्षमता की भारी कमी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है।
