The bloc is concerned about the arrests, an FIR for trespassing, and the Election Commission's functioning. Das and Ranka were detained after allegedly breaching barricades at Jantar Mantar, a site recently denotified for protests. Gawande questioned Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's stance on the action against young protesters.
