Shekhar Suman Defends Satire Show, Says PM Modi Not Weak

Actor Shekhar Suman has clarified that his YouTube satire show 'Shekhar Tonite' targets systemic flaws, not the BJP government. He stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not so weak as to be threatened by his program. Suman cited his past shows like 'Movers & Shakers' as examples of his consistent approach, which has satirized governments of various parties. He believes holding those in power accountable is pro-people and not anti-anyone. Suman also denied receiving any calls from the government to tone down his commentary.

एक्टर शेखर सुमन ने साफ किया है कि उनका यूट्यूब सटायर शो 'शेखर टुनाइट' सिस्टम की खामियों पर निशाना साधता है, न कि बीजेपी सरकार पर। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी इतने कमज़ोर नहीं हैं कि उनके शो से खतरा महसूस करें। सुमन ने अपने पिछले शो जैसे 'मूवर्स एंड शेकर्स' का उदाहरण देते हुए कहा कि उनका तरीका हमेशा से ऐसा ही रहा है, जिसमें उन्होंने अलग-अलग पार्टियों की सरकारों पर व्यंग्य किया है। उनका मानना है कि सत्ता में बैठे लोगों को जवाबदेह ठहराना लोगों के हित में है, न कि किसी के खिलाफ। सुमन ने यह भी कहा कि सरकार की ओर से उन्हें अपनी बातों को कम करने के लिए कोई कॉल नहीं आया है।
