Karnataka's Large and Medium Industries Minister M.B. Patil has strongly refuted claims by Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy that Honda Motor is planning to leave the state. Patil described the remarks as "baseless and politically motivated," warning they could harm industrial growth. He highlighted Honda's long-standing presence since 2011, its current production of 10,000 vehicles daily at Narasapura, and employment for over 7,800 people. The minister also noted the company's plans to expand into electric two-wheeler manufacturing in Karnataka.
