Veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai believes today's actors prioritize earning money over artistic craft, a shift from his era. He recalled stars accepting only 40 percent of their fees for his films because they were interested in the story and character. Ghai noted that while actors now have multiple income streams, their fame is often short-lived, lasting only a few years. This contrasts with established stars like Salman Khan, who still focus on delivering good work and family-friendly films.
