Jake Evans Stars For Montreal Canadiens After Nick Suzuki Injury Blow

NDTV Sports · sports

Jake Evans ended a nine-game point drought by scoring two goals and adding an assist to lead the Montreal Canadiens to a 4-1 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks. This significant performance comes just one day after the team's captain, Nick Suzuki, was sidelined for two to four weeks due to an upper-body injury. Evans's crucial contribution helped secure a win for his team despite the absence of their regular leader. The Canadiens will need strong performances from players like Evans to navigate this period without Suzuki.
