Karnataka Home Minister Priyank Kharge has directed the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to obtain formal police clearance for its upcoming Vijayadashami route marches in Bengaluru. Kharge clarified that merely informing the Home Department or requesting cooperation does not constitute official permission. He emphasized that large-scale marches, involving thousands of participants as reported in the RSS's own annual report, require significant planning, manpower, and public resources. Therefore, the RSS must follow the prescribed application procedure and await formal approval from competent authorities.

कर्नाटक के गृहमंत्री प्रियंक खरगे ने राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ (RSS) को बेंगलुरु में अपने आगामी विजयादशमी रूट मार्च के लिए पुलिस से औपचारिक मंजूरी लेने का निर्देश दिया है। खरगे ने स्पष्ट किया कि गृह विभाग को केवल सूचित करना या सहयोग का अनुरोध करना आधिकारिक अनुमति नहीं है। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि RSS की अपनी वार्षिक रिपोर्ट में बताई गई हजारों लोगों की भागीदारी वाले बड़े पैमाने पर होने वाले मार्च के लिए महत्वपूर्ण योजना, जनशक्ति और सार्वजनिक संसाधनों की आवश्यकता होती है। इसलिए, RSS को निर्धारित आवेदन प्रक्रिया का पालन करना चाहिए और सक्षम अधिकारियों से औपचारिक मंजूरी का इंतजार करना चाहिए।
