CJP Alleges Rajasthan Police Detained Activist, Drove Him 100km

Times of India · politics

The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has accused Rajasthan Police of forcibly detaining its national organisational co-in-charge Deepak Baliyan from his Alwar residence and manhandling him. Police deny detaining Baliyan, stating he was not taken into custody. The CJP alleges Baliyan, who has a fractured leg, was driven around 100 km before being released late at night. This alleged action comes ahead of a planned CJP protest in Delhi on October 10, demanding the Chief Election Commissioner's resignation over alleged electoral roll manipulation.
