AIADMK Leader Urges Govt. to Protect Vaazhndhu Kattuvom Project Workers' Jobs

AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami has urged the TVK-led Tamil Nadu government to safeguard the employment of workers from the Vaazhndhu Kattuvom Project. Their services were reportedly discontinued on September 23. Palaniswami also called for the clearance of two months' pending salary dues for these workers. He highlighted their difficulties in finding new employment due to their long tenure in the project and suggested their continued utilization in Vaazhndhu Kattuvom Project 3.0.

एआईएडीएमके के महासचिव एडप्पाडी के. पलानीस्वामी ने टीवीके के नेतृत्व वाली तमिलनाडु सरकार से 'वाझंधु कट्टुवोम प्रोजेक्ट' के श्रमिकों के रोज़गार की सुरक्षा करने का आग्रह किया है। कथित तौर पर उनकी सेवाएं 23 सितंबर को बंद कर दी गई थीं। पलानीस्वामी ने इन श्रमिकों के दो महीने के लंबित वेतन का भुगतान करने की भी मांग की। उन्होंने परियोजना में उनके लंबे कार्यकाल के कारण नई नौकरी खोजने में उनकी कठिनाइयों पर प्रकाश डाला और 'वाझंधु कट्टुवोम प्रोजेक्ट 3.0' में उनके निरंतर उपयोग का सुझाव दिया।
