Tamil Nadu Offers Up To ₹22K Subsidy

Tamil Nadu is introducing a subsidy of up to ₹22,000 for households installing rooftop solar systems, aiming to reduce electricity bills. This state subsidy, in convergence with the Union government's PM Surya Ghar scheme, can bring the total subsidy to ₹1 lakh for a 3kW system. The state has allocated ₹50 crore for this initiative, targeting 1 lakh consumers by March 2027.
