A Flydubai flight en route to Tel Aviv experienced a mid-air crisis when the co-pilot attacked the Indian captain, Smit Machchhar, with a knife. The aircraft rapidly lost altitude, dropping approximately 14,000 feet, triggering emergency and hijacking alerts. Despite being injured, Captain Machchhar bravely regained control and safely landed the plane in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Passengers, many of whom were Israeli, expressed immense gratitude towards the Indian captain for his heroic actions.
