PGVCL Worker Electrocuted Due To Unauthorised Wiring

A PGVCL worker died of electrocution in Rajkot district while performing maintenance. Police have registered a case against the owner of an industrial unit, Gordhan Ramani, following a complaint by Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. Preliminary inquiries suggest an unauthorised electrical arrangement at Nyal Karan Industries may have allowed power to flow into an agricultural feeder that was shut down for maintenance. The deceased, Lalsingh Palas, was installing a fuse when electricity unexpectedly resumed on the line, causing the fatal shock.

राजकोट जिले में रखरखाव का काम करते समय एक पीजीवीसीएल कर्मचारी की बिजली का झटका लगने से मौत हो गई। पश्चिम गुजरात विज कंपनी लिमिटेड की शिकायत के बाद पुलिस ने एक औद्योगिक इकाई के मालिक, गोवर्धन रमानी के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया है। प्रारंभिक जांच से पता चलता है कि न्याल करण इंडस्ट्रीज में एक अनधिकृत बिजली व्यवस्था के कारण रखरखाव के लिए बंद किए गए कृषि फीडर में बिजली प्रवाहित हो सकती थी। मृतक, लालसिंह पालस, फ्यूज लगा रहे थे जब लाइन पर अप्रत्याशित रूप से बिजली फिर से चालू हो गई, जिससे उन्हें घातक झटका लगा।
