Man Arrested For Fake UPI Payment At Jewellery

Police in Feroke have arrested a 29-year-old man, Sabith, in connection with an alleged fake UPI payment at a Ramanattukara jewellery outlet. Sabith reportedly purchased a bracelet on September 19, showing staff a fake payment screenshot before leaving without paying. Investigations revealed he may have scouted escape routes beforehand. He was remanded in judicial custody and is suspected of multiple similar incidents across Keralam, leading a lavish lifestyle.
