Multiple school districts in Ohio's Miami Valley region have implemented two-hour delayed starts due to heavy fog significantly impairing visibility. Affected districts include Celina City Schools, Minster Local Schools, and Parkway Local Schools in Mercer County, along with institutions in Auglaize and Shelby counties. The National Weather Service issued a Dense Fog Advisory for the area, warning of reduced visibility to a quarter-mile or less, creating hazardous driving conditions. These precautionary measures aim to ensure safer transportation for students and staff during the period of limited visibility.
